Moon & Sun!

Moon & Sun! is an experimental textile, handwoven in a double weaving technique. The fabric intersects once, creating a X form highlighting the sculptural properties of typically soft textiles. The different and often opposing materials have created an alluring unevenness inherent to handmade objects, leaving us with a slightly irregular yet delicate texture and offbeat colours. The darkness of the moon and lightness of the sun cast shadows upon each other while also reflecting each others shimmer.
