The Next Great Fashion Designer LA
Was a fashion show conceived by Alina Astrova
and Johanna Ulfsak with assistance from Thank You Brenda. The presentation took place
on the 26th of March 2016 at 7pm at Overduin and Co, Los Angeles. Thn models cast by
the gallery were wearing hats and clothes created for the occasion. The hats were
designed from prints produced by Thank You Brenda and are entirely hand made. The
clothes were prepared out of 100% Italian crepe paper and fitted straight onto the models
prior the show. The runway space - including the custom brown lights, check flooring, stairseats
and backdrop boxes - was designed in collaboration between Astrova, Ulfsak and
Thank You Brenda.
